La Fabrique des utopies concrètes

From the airport at Roissy to the fields of Gonesse, from the housing estates of Sarcelles to the brand-new neighbourhoods of Fosses, we criss-crossed the region, listening to the people who live there, work there, travel through it, dream of this area of the Val d’Oise. We wanted to understand who does what, who could do what, and what could a residence-mission achieve ?

We decided to focus on three elements in order to maintain the project’s coherence: artistic education, the region and the way it is changing, the local residents and their habits and experiences. As the cartography took shape, so did our route.
