Faire Lien began with a study undertaken collectively. Employees, inhabitants and local associations joined us at lunchtime or for an after-work drink as we criss-crossed the neighbourhood to explore little-known or inaccessible spaces as a way of better understanding where and how local people spend their time in Landy.
We set up workshops where we formulated ideas to bring new life to the neighbourhood, coming up with a range of ideas: Going to a restaurant in the evening? Doing “running street art”? Organising speed-dating events with inhabitants and local employees? Gardening between midday and two? We came up with a hundred ideas for activities to turn Landy into a neighbourhood where people would choose to spend their time.
